I'm taking the plunge and moving WizzerNews over to WordPress.

The new site is here WizzerNews.

To import the blog posts from here I first need to upgrade this blog to the new style Blogger. As a result the look of this blog will no doubt change and I think some of my upgrades will be lost.

Don't worry though the new blog it much better. See you there very soon.

Graphic Design

What is most important - the end result or the manner in which it is achieved?

I am a great believer in service and going the extra mile. I deal with different companies everyday and frankly if any of them provide anything like an acceptable service (note I'm not talking about good service - just something I don't have to complain about) then I am reasonably happy these days.

What a pleasure it is then, for me to write about EXCEPTIONAL service from someone with whom I have not even done any business - YET.

Mark McGimpsey at Graphic Design Marketing has this week provided me with outstanding help - none of which I asked for - with some graphics on one of my blogs. If the service he provides when you are paying is a fraction of what he provides when you are not then you will not be disappointed.

If you need website graphics, perhaps a header or e-book cover created, then give Mark a chance - he certainly won't skimp on the service.

Lost in Belfast

I don't know if any of you are from Belfast but regardless I thought I would see if I can help a friend of mine raise awareness of a site he has created to help people who have gone missing.

Obviously, the Madeleine McCann story has brought this into the public eye recently but it's sad to say this is not an isolated occurrence.

If you know anyone from Northern Ireland please refer them to Lost Without You

Web 2.0 Promotion Tactics

Although I love the concept of Social Bookmarking (aka Web 2.0) and consistently use submissions to sites such as Digg & Stumble Upon as a means of generating interest in a subject, the time it takes to submit blog posts to the various social bookmarking sites has become something of a chore.

Today, however, I came across a great piece of software that completely automates the task potentially saving hours a week.

You simply enter your information once and at a click the post is submitted to all of the networking sites at once. No more logging in to each one manually!

There's also a great bonus that comes with the software - I've not used it yet but it promises extra promotion via a group of content publishers. Read more here.

Online Video, Squeeze Pages

Over the past month or so there seems to have been a rapid increase in the number of people extolling the virtues of using video in sales pages - "the way of the future" etc

I agree that video adds a degree of credibility and can bring a page to life bit is creating a quality video within reach of the average person?

Looking to create a new Squeeze Page for a product I am selling I took a look at a Squeeze Video containing professionally produced video and presented by a professional. I like the result.

Take a look at the page I created here Internet Autopilot and download the FREE Video Traffic Report.

I'll be very interested in your thoughts - does video enhance or detract from your browsing experience? Does it add to the likelihood of a sign up on a squeeze page.

Look forward to hearing from you

Wizzer News - review at Success Chronicles

Over at Success Chronicles Tray has just done a review of Wizzer News for which I'm really grateful.

Tray herself has a great blog that focuses on building success with positive thought and motivation. Her site was built using Joomla and pretty impressive it is.

What I particularly like about the theme of Success chronicles is the concept that anyone can CHOOSE success in their life rather than accept fate. Now that's a cool concept.
